The screen you present from. Your slide stays the largest thing on it, and everything the room is telling you arrives down one side: reactions on the current slide, the question queue, poll results and a pace signal.
No. They see the slide. The cockpit is yours, on your own screen, so the signals never appear on the projector.
Nothing pops up over your deck. Signals accumulate quietly and you look when you choose to. The one exception is the comprehension alert, which is deliberate: if too many people flag that they are lost on the same slide, you want to know while you can still do something about it.
Yes. Every control has a keyboard shortcut, so launching a poll, opening the whiteboard or advancing the deck never means hunting for a button.
Yes. Draw straight over the slide you are on and the room follows in real time, or insert a blank whiteboard as a real slide right after the current one. Both are keystrokes away.
By the room. Students ask in writing and up-vote each other's questions, so the one nine people are stuck on rises to the top instead of waiting behind eight others.
The deck is yours and keeps presenting regardless. Participation degrades rather than fails: a student who drops out rejoins with the same code and lands on the slide you are on.
