Everything legal in one place: our terms, our policies, and how Diaposi protects your data.

Legal notice.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This notice gives the information that French law requires of the publisher of an online service: Article 6, III of Law no. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN) and Article 19 of the same law. It covers the website diaposi.com and the application app.diaposi.com, together called Diaposi.

1. Publisher

Diaposi, société par actions simplifiée à associé unique (SASU), a simplified joint-stock company with a single shareholder under French law
Share capital: 50 euros

Until its registration is recorded, Diaposi is a company in formation: acts done in its name are done by its president on its behalf and are taken over by the company once registered, as Article L. 210-6 of the French Commercial Code provides. The registration number and the VAT number join this page as soon as the registry and the tax office issue them.

2. Publication director

The publication director is Alae Belaich, president of Diaposi, within the meaning of Article 93-2 of Law no. 82-652 of 29 July 1982 on audiovisual communication. The same person answers for editorial content.

3. Hosting

Diaposi is served from a server operated by:

Contabo GmbH

Registered at the Local Court of Munich under HRB 180722; VAT identification number DE267602842

That server is in Germany. Around it, the database is run by MongoDB (Atlas) on Amazon Web Services in the Paris region, France; encrypted backups are kept with Backblaze in Amsterdam, Netherlands; email is delivered through HostGator / Newfold Digital from Frankfurt, Germany; and the AI features call Mistral AI in Paris, France. Each provider, what it does and where, is listed in the Privacy Policy.

Read the provider register in the Privacy Policy.

5. Point of contact under the Digital Services Act

Diaposi stores content that its users upload and is therefore a hosting service within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act). Its single point of contact for the authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Article 11), and for the people who use the service (Article 12), is legal@diaposi.com, in French or English. Notices of allegedly illegal content (Article 16) go to the same address; the Terms of Service say what a notice must contain and how it is handled.

See section 13 of the Terms of Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Diaposi name and logo, the website, the application, their software, interfaces, texts, illustrations, screenshots and documentation belong to Diaposi or to its licensors and are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and by international conventions. Reproducing, representing, adapting or extracting any of it, in whole or in part, for a purpose other than personal use or the use the Terms of Service allow, requires Diaposi's prior written permission.

What users upload or create in Diaposi remains theirs, under the licence described in the Terms of Service. The interface icons come from the Lucide library (ISC licence) and the emoji from Microsoft's Fluent Emoji (MIT licence).

7. Personal data and cookies

Diaposi is the controller of the personal data it processes for its own purposes. The Privacy Policy says what is processed, why, for how long, who receives it and which rights apply; the Cookie Policy lists what the site and the application store on your device. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

8. Consumer mediation and disputes

Under Articles L. 611-1 and following and L. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, a consumer may use a consumer mediator, free of charge, to settle out of court a dispute with a professional, after first sending a written complaint to legal@diaposi.com and within one year of that complaint.

Consumer mediator: named on this page, with its postal address and website, once the company is registered.

Diaposi's documents are governed by French law. A consumer may bring a claim before the competent French court, including the court of the place where they lived when the contract was made or where the harm occurred. Between professionals, the Commercial Court of Rouen has jurisdiction.
