Frequently asked questions
What is a Practice session?
It is how you practise on your own material with Diaposi: a quiz, a mock exam, a quick check or flashcards, all written from your slides, PDFs or notes. Practice sessions are part of Augmented learning.
Which files can I use?
PowerPoint, Word, Excel and PDF files, up to 6 at once and up to 10 MB each: lecture slides, course notes, handouts or your own notes.
What is the difference between a quiz and a mock exam?
A quiz is short and taken at your own pace, with your score at the end and each answer shown. A mock exam is sat like the real one: timed, with nothing marked until you hand it in, then graded out of 20.
Which kinds of question are there?
Ten: multiple choice with one or several answers, true or false, fill in the blank, numeric answer, matching, ordering, categorization, open questions and written problems. Quizzes mix the first eight; mock exams use multiple choice, open questions and written problems.
Are my mistakes kept?
Yes. Every quiz and mock exam is saved with your answers, and what you got wrong comes back in Next to study and improve, ready to plan, review or practise again.
