No lock at the 40th answer
However many people are in the room, every one of them can answer every poll. Polls come in six kinds: yes or no, true or false, multiple choice, rating scale, free answer and word cloud, beside live quizzes and anonymous questions that participants upvote.

Every session in one record: your lecture evidence
Your lecture evidence brings every session you run with your account into one view: total participants, questions asked, average participation and quiz completion, each compared with the period just before. Filter by period or folder, follow engagement over time and see the misconceptions that keep coming back across your sessions.
Nothing is estimated: a session with no quiz is left out of the quiz average rather than counted as zero, and each session keeps its own report for 12 months. Poll Everywhere lists access to archived results from its Educator plan, at $16 a month billed annually, and none on the free plan.
The signals a poll cannot collect
Your report counts what participants did without pressing anything. The main quiet signal is going back to reread a slide, which people do when they missed something, so the participants who never speak up count too.
Pacing sits beside it: where you moved on while the room was still reading, and where the room was done before you. A presence curve shows who stayed to the last slide and where the biggest drop came, and the slides worth a second pass are listed first.
